2. Eat a balanced diet
A diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains provides important nutrients that give you healthy skin.

High sugar intake can worsen acne and cause more breakouts.
Tip: We touch our faces more often than we realize (leaning your face on your hands, rubbing your face we you nervous, etc). Be aware of how often you do these things and cut them out!
4. Get good sleep
Sleep is your skin’s time to heal and regenerate. Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep per night so you can wake up to baby skin.
Tip: Increase the amount of time you sleep by 5 – 10 minutes every night so your body can get used to it easily
5. Drink more H2O
Water = Hydration. You don’t have to overdo it and try to chug 8 glasses but try to drink a little more water every day.
Tip: Carry a reusable water bottle with you. This will remind you to stay hydrated!
6. Keep hair away from your face
Hair products and oils can transfer to your skin if your hair is constantly touching your face. This can lead to more breakouts and textured skin.
Tip: Keep your hair tucked away from your face or tie it up, especially when you sleep.
7. Sun protection
Avoid excessive sun exposure. Getting vitamin D from the sun is great but too much sun exposure can cause major damage to your skin and premature skin aging. Always use sunscreen before going outside and reapply it every 2 -3 hours for maximum protection.
Tip: Use a hat or umbrella to cover your beautiful face when the sunlight is too strong.
8. Avoid using too many skincare products
Too many products can irritate the skin. Having a 10 step skincare routine is not going to solve your acne problems, and it might even make your skin worse. Remember: simple is best.
Tip: Stick to a simple routine with minimal and effective products.
Achieving clear skin is a long journey. It’s about learning what habits and products work for you and being consistent. Your skin won’t clear up overnight but if you’re patient, you will see major improvements. Your skin is always changing so be kind to yourself and enjoy the process. Cheers on your journey to clear and healthy skin!
